FLOWER FIELDS

Because Abbie was so sick Sunday night we decided to cut our vacation short and head home Monday night. We were supposed to go back to Disneyland, but we decided to go visit the Flower Fields in Carlsbad. The flowers were really beautiful. My pictures don't really do it justice.

There was a sweat pea maze that you could wander through. This is what a sweat pea flower looks like in case some of you don't know.

The flight home was easier. We gave Abbie some tylenol and benadryl which knocked her out and she was able to sleep through the entire flight. Phew! That was a relief. We took Abbie to our pediatrician the next day and she said it is just the spring virus that is going around. Poor Abbie. She even lost her voice.
