Some would call Labor Day an official end of the summer bbq's, pool parties, family gatherings and the start of a spiral downhill towards a dreary winter. To some this may be true, but we like to think that the best is yet to come. Football season is now underway for Tyler, who looks forward to this time all year long. And we can't forget about the Utah Jazz starting their new season. The major reason for Tyler's love of football and basketball is family and friends gatehering together to watch the games. If it weren't for the friends and family, I doubt he would even watch the games, even with me, because I'd rather read a good book. (Maybe Abbie will love to watch football with her dad). For me, I love the changing temperature, the leaves turning colors and all the holidays coming up.
As all families do, we celebrated the no work day and had our last outside adventure.
Everyone seemed to enjoy a game of water volleyball and yes, even lazy Nate got off his duff to participate. He almost saved one for his team by attempting to catch a balloon in his shirt. Fortunately for him, it didn't work and well...you can guess the result.
Trevor enjoyed watching the action from his bumpo seat, but that only lasted for a few moments when he realized that no one was paying attention to him. He at last found a paper cup to be more entertaining than what was going on around him.
Mom even took up the racket and played badminton with everyone.
Brynn was content to walk among the badminton game eating her favorite thing - Chips.
Goodbye Summer - Hello Fall!
