Not only do we have the best families in the whole world, we have the best friends in the whole world!! To celebrate my birthday on Saturday, I wanted to have dinner with the whole gang and Tyler's family. I requested Robin's famous Tikka Masala dish. It was, of course, the best ever!
No party could be complete without three desserts! Tamara is making a delicious pear upside down cake. Melissa brought a pumpkin cream cheese roll and I brought peanut butter fingers.
Melissa decided to throw a baby shower for us at the same time, since everyone was going to be there. It was great fun! Melissa, being the creative soul she is, created this amazing diaper cake. Isn't it cute?!
She also gave me a cute fleece bear outfit for Abbie. She will be so warm.
Tyler's parents gave me the Anne of Green Gables series on DVD. We will definetly have to have a girls night, since Tyler's mom has never seen them.
Bonnie and Ffej also gave Abbie a couple more outifts! They already gave us tons at the other shower!
Then the biggest shocker of them all came when they handed us a card with everyone's name signed on it and a square package.
I had Tyler open the gift, since I had my fill of opening presents that day. Lo and behold, it was a sports camcorder!!! We couldn't believe it! What amazing friends we have. That was so incredibly nice of everyone to get that for us. We will definetly be filming Abbie and posting it here on our blog.
